Thor

I just found it interesting how all marvel comic movies make so much money. I was readign about the new movie Thor, and it made 66 million its first weekend, beating everything else. I think we are going to come to an age of all marvel comic movies. At least if they keep making the companies this much money.

Heres the article:

  1. Marvel understands the formula for success, which is simply give the fans what they want, how they want it. The rest of D.C can do the same if they take some pointers from the current Batman franchise. Shame that only one D.C comic movie is succeeding while all of the Marvel's comic movies are hitting the mark.

  2. Im a big super hero movie fan but from what i seen so far from the trailers of Thor i am not to interested. I do not think i would shell out 12 dollars to see a movie that will probably be okay at best. However i am very excited to see all these marvel characters come together in the later avengers movie.

  3. Love the comic movies but i agree i would not pay $12 to see it in theaters. I think if theater's want to compete again then they need to lower their prices to have a shot. With that said the comic book movies still do very well, they have a strong following.
