The past couple days have been triumphant for Us citizens, especially for those who were directly affected by the 911 attacks. As the much of the world now knows, Osama Bin Landen has finally disposed of, and it seems it only took minutes for the news to spread like wild fire. Here is a video from Sunday night's Phillies vs Mets game. This video shows fans receiving the news of Bin Laden's death from their cell phones, which leads into mass celebration in the stands. This video shows us all how fast we now get our information. In the past these fans would have had to wait until they got home to find out the news of Bin Laden's death.
I saw this report as well and I can't believe information spread so quickly. I asked my friend who was at the game if there was an announcement during the game and she said there wasn't, as the report said everyone heard out through there phones. It really shows just how tech savvy our world is and how much we depend on technology in our everyday lives.
ReplyDeleteCell phones just prove to show how we can retrieve information faster then watching the news, or listening to the radio. With all the technology increasing with cell phones it is sometimes easier to look up, find out, and spread information then any other way.
ReplyDelete-God Bless technology
